The Ehingbeti Lagos state economic summit 2022 is set to unveil a 30-year Lagos development plan (2022-2052) on 16 and 17 August, 2022 at the prestigious Eko Hotel and suites, Lagos.
Speaking on behalf of the organizers, the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Samuel Egube made it known that the meeting was necessary as parts of the effort to get their input for a robust discussion at the summit.
“We really desire that Lagosians know that we are accountable which is the same reason that when we are doing our budget we have consultative forum and we come back and account to them as to the decisions we have taken.
The lagos state government has never believed that the work of the state can be done alone but through a collective effort. So we want you all to come to the 2022 Ehingbeti with the theme ‘Charting the Paths to Sustainable Socioeconomic Growth’, “he said.
Egube further assured lagosians that the 2022-2052 plan is an improvement on the previous plan and is not in anyway contradicting the other.
