The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Delta North senatorial candidate, Prince Ned Nwoko, is weightily building a formidable grassroot force, as he moves from ward to ward in continuation of his senatorial campaigns.
Recall that Nwoko officially flagged-off his senatorial campaign in his ward, on 7 November, 2022, which was well attended by mammoth crowd of people, including a good number of PDP high profilists.
On Tuesday, 8 November, day-two of his campaign, Nwoko, alongside his beautiful and supportive wife, Regina Daniels-Nwoko, visited other wards in Aniocha North Local Government Area.They include; ward 4, Onicha Olona, ward 9, Ukwu-nzu, ward 5, Issele-mpitime, ward 6, Issele-Uku, and ward 7, also in Issele-Uku.
Nwoko, who according to his locals has touched the lives of many through his philanthropic projects, received overwhelming ovation from the crowds as he makes heroic arrival to various wards.
A keen supporter, simply identified as Ezediunor, in a brief interview with Emerald, said that there is no better candidate than Nwoko, he noted that the politician is not the type that only “shows face” during election periods. Ezediunor maintained that Nwoko is always with his people, election or no election.
In Ezediunor’s words,” Prince Ned is the man! No better candidate! He is not the type of politician that only shows face during election and ghost his people after election. Ned is not like that. Ask anybody! If you’ve been to mount Ned, his home in Ugboko, you will understand what I am saying. People troop in at will. He is very accessible. On Prince Ned’s mandate we stand.”
