It was a huge shock as a man (name withheld) from Anambra State brought back home a fourth wife after denying his three wives of feeding money for five months.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the man who lives in Akwuebulu, Asaba, Delta State told his three wives in September 2020 that everybody had to bear hardship as he claimed he did not have enough money to take care of them again.
Our source said that as a result of the latest development, his three wives stopped disturbing him and worked harder in their petty trades to cater for themselves and their kids.
Emerald News gathered that the three wives were surprised when their husband called them for a meeting and broke the news of getting a new wife for himself.
He told them that he had just concluded a marital obligation for his fourth wife.
Our source noted that the three wives became angry with him while expressing disappointment over his attitude of starving them and children because he wanted to save money for another woman.
Emerald News gathered that the first wife of the man said that her husband has been using the same strategy to bring other wives to her.
According to her, she pleaded with him when he brought a second wife to her house not to break her heart again but she said her husband did not listen to her as he kept bringing new wives.
Our witness told Emerald News that the polygamous man hired a five bedroom apartment where he gave each of the wives a room while all the children make use of one room.
