Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister, was on live programme with Channels television yesterday after he surprised the world with his unsavoury defection to a political party and to a president he had cursed and used many unprintable words on.
Seun, the programme anchor and one of the fearless in the television house, threw a question at him on what people are saying drove him back to Buhari and the APC he called a Fulani party and a rejected one for years.
Seun told him that people are saying he is hungry because his money is getting out so he needed money to refill, hence he returned to his vomit.
He felt offended, saying the question was an insult to him. That response took me back to when he said he had a short fuss to a journalist who asked him who was bankrolling his trips to inspect governors projects a few months ago.
Truly, reading through almost all comments, 90 percent are on the fact that the guy is broke and needed a refill of his pocket. He has actually not been in any political office for some years now. He must been running short of cash and he needed to figure out a way to begin to make money.
This is why he returned to Buhari he cursed, abused, hated and said he was the problem of this country. He said Buhari was the one Fulanising Nigeria and called all Nigerians to rise and defend themselves against Buhari’s Fulani kits and kins.
Yesterday, after years of hate speech against Buhari, he said the president and the party are not what they were many years ago. He said he was seeing Buhari from outside, now he is seeing him from inside. The bad Buhari of few years back is now a saint.
I agree with what people are saying, he needed money to continue to live. Politicians do not invest, they only spend and go again to acquire with no plan for future. It’s so sad!!
