Luck ran out of a house agent who collected money from his client without offering any accommodation to him in Asaba.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the victim who has been searching for the dubious agent spotted him drinking at a Bet9ja centre in Asaba, pounced on him to beat hell out of him when the people around rescued him.
Our source said that the victim who drove in a High Lander Jeep into the Naija Bet centre, jumped out of his car and ran towards the agent man that duped him and held him on his neck with one hand while using another of his hand to slap him.
Our source said that the victim’s friend who accompanied him to the business place also was hitting the head of the agent man with one of his palm sandals when the people around rushed and relieved the agent man from their hands.
This medium gathered that the agent man took to his heels immediately his helpers came to rescue him.
Our source said that the victim told the people around the Naija Bet centre including the owner that he was angry because the agent man collected the sum of N450.000 to give him a three bedroom apartment accommodation in Asaba since two weeks ago without him getting the accommodation.
According to the victim, the agent man showed him the apartment and promised to hand over the keys to him.
Emerald News learnt that the victim was happy to transfer the money to the agent man’s account while both of them agreed that he would come and collect the keys that same day.
Emerald News gathered that the victim has been looking for the agent until yesterday evening he saw him drinking.
As the agent ran away through the back yard of the business centre, nobody heard from him what happened but the owner of the place and eye witnesses pleaded with the victim to go while promising to help him to fetch the agent.
