The Labour Party presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi led with 178 votes to defeat the All Progressive Congress candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who polled 22 votes and Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who scored 18 votes.
