Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, a native of Mbaukwu in Awka South local government area of Anambra state, has been nominated by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as running mate to the party’s candidate, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo in the forthcoming Anambra state gubernatorial election.
Emerald News reports that Dr. Ibezim, who is a medical doctor, is currently a Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Indigenous medicine and herbal practice.
Dr. Ibezim is also the Managing Director of Anambra Oxygen Plant located at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku, Awka and also the Executive Director of ANSACA, Anambra State Agency for Control of HIV/AIDS.
Emerald News gathered that Dr. Ibezim is the younger brother to the Archbishop, Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Revd. Alexander Ibezim.
