The chairman of All Soludo Support Groups, Mr Chinedu Nwoye-Glamour, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for returning Prof Chukwuma Soludo as the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Anambra gubernatorial race.

Prof Soludo is the candidate of APGA for the November 6 governorship election in Anambra state.

“Returning Soludo’s name is in accordance with the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Kano Division, where the court quashed the judgment of a Jigawa High Court that earlier recognised one claimant, Chuma Umeoji as the candidate of APGA.’’

Nwoye-Glamour addressed journalists during the inauguration of the Campaign Council, National, State and Local Government Areas (LGAs), at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

He said that inauguration had set the pace for the Party’s flag-off for the 2021 APGA campaigns.

He emphasised that APGA had always been one indivisible family that could never be dissolved, and added that Governor Willie Obiano demonstrated excellence in governance.

Nwoye-Glamour, however, called on APGA faithful to remain resolute and committed in their support for the party before, during and after the elections.
