Former senator and a member of the All progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba has accused the federal government of borrowing money continuously and claiming they spent it on the people.
He said this via his Facebook account while talking about the government and its borrowing habit.
According to him, the government borrows continuously; claiming to have spent it on the people, yet anything can’t be substantiated from it.
He added that the government now wants the people to pay for it.
While agreeing that the country has to pay its debt, Adamu Garba added that Nigerians needed to retire the present government, because their time is up.
He said;
“They borrowed and borrowed, they claimed to have spent it on us, yet we can’t substantiate anything from it. Now they want us to pay for it.
“Yes! We must pay our debt. But can we trust them with our votes again? We need to retire them. Time up!”
He added;
“The last time we heard about palliative is Sure-P, remember? Where is the remnant of sure-P? Now, you have 5k, less than a cooking gas price as palliative. Our economy is successfully decaffeinated.”
