The national president of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), Comrade Tommy Etim Okon, has reiterated that Comrade Bolum Nwachukwu remains the authentic branch chairman of the association in Delta state.
The national president made this known at the national secretariat of the association in Abuja, where he pointed out that the election conducted in Delta state that saw the emergence of Bolum Nwachukwu as the branch chairman was supervised by the national officials and delegates.
According to him: “There is no crisis in Delta branch of ASCSN. Those who parade themselves as caretakers do not know the provisions of the ASCSN constitution.”
He said the association rejects in totality, the caretaker formed by anybody or group because it runs against rules and guidelines of the association.
He said: “Therefore it is null and void as it neither satisfies the requirements of the ASCSN constitution nor the national secretariat of the association. Therefore it is not recognized by ASCSN.
He said the national secretariat is in allegiance to leadership of Comrade Bolum Nwachukwu and “we dissociate ourselves from the kangaroo caretaker made by single individual.”
“For the records, Comrade Martins Bolum was duly elected chairman of the Delta state branch of ASCSN and we have communicated to all agencies of government in the state”.
