Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation minister, has released a bombshell on Sunday evening. Fani-Kayode, who is fondly called FFK, is one of the fearless Nigerians who have been speaking truth to power.

He said the embattled former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, worked for other senior politicians in the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the four years he was acting chairman of the anti-graft agency.

For the past one full week, Magu has been finding it tough with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the police over heavy allegations of financial and economic crimes while he served as acting chairman of the agency. For the past one week, Magu has been either in the custody of DSS or the police.

But Fani-Kayode, in a facebook post, said the travails of Magu did not start this year but was planned years ago. He said the real target is not Magu but those whom he worked for and protected for the last four years.

He posted: “What is happening to Magu today was planned years ago. The real target is not Magu but those he worked for and protected for the last 4 years. He NEVER worked for Buhari. He worked for Tinubu and Osinbajo. When they finish crushing him they will move against his two godfathers.”

He is of the view that godfathers of Magu are Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, who will be visited after the powers that be have finished dealing with Ibrahim Magu.
