Governor of Jigawa state and 2023 aspirant, Abubakar Badaru has stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Badaru said that he will be stepping down for Tinubu because he was a father and leader of the party.
In the same line, Dimeji Bankole also stepped down Tinubu adding that he was better suited for the position.
Another aspirant, Ajayi Borrofice also announced that he will be will withdrawing from the race and called on his supporters and delegates to support Tinubu.
So far, 5 presidential aspirants have stepped down for Tinubu.
Senator Godwill Akpabio was first to step down for the Lagos political collosus, followed by Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Kayode Fayemi.
