A former governorship aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom state, Akan Udofia, has resigned from the party.
In a letter to his ward chairman, he said he has been a member of the party and has contributed to the development of the party as a party man.
However, he said he has taken a decision to dump the party and move on to another party. It was later learnt that he had moved to join the All Progressive Congress APC.
The post and resignation letter were posted on The Noisemaker, a Facebook page.
