The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has fixed May 28 as the date for its Presidential primaries.

The party NEC disclosed this in its timetable released by Umar Bature, the national organizing secretary of the PDP, after the joint meeting of the board of trustees (BOT) and national executive committee (NEC) of the party at its headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, March 16.

According to the timetable,  the governorship primaries will take place on May 21. Aspirants interested in contesting the presidential election are to pay as much as N35 million for their fine while youths aged between 25 and 30 will get 50 percent discount on the nomination form fees.
