A Facebook user, one Macaulay Achoja, has posted that robbers were seen along East West road between Beta Glass company and Ughelli Power station in Ughelli North local government area on Sunday evening, November 29, 2020.
His post reads:
BREAKING
“There’s information reaching my left ear now that armed robbers have blocked East West road between NEPA and Beta Glass Companies”
However, as many people were afraid of the development, one Kingsley Oghenemarho Eyano, said members of the Nigeria police in Agbarho division had mobilised forces to the area and dislodged the robbers.
Another man by name Chika Udoka Emmanuel also said he had mobilised soldiers to the spot and disbanded the criminals.
Many of his followers showered praises on him for his quick action. More people said the road has been freed as motorists are now moving through.
