Delta North senator-elect, Ned Munir Nwoko, has extended an open invitation to the grand reception of his inauguration ceremony.
The reception is to hold on June 18, at Mount Ned, Idumuje-Ugboko. According to the statement made available by the organising team, Nwoko had considered the convenience and accessibility of the event for the constituents whom he proudly represents, hence, the reception location.
“While Abuja may seem like a prestigious location for such a reception, it may not be the most practical choice in terms of allowing a greater number of constituents to attend and participate fully in this joyous celebration.
“By hosting the reception back home, we can ensure that a larger portion of the constituents, supporters, well wishers from all walks of life can be part of this historic moment.
“This will foster a sense of unity and inclusivity, allowing a wider range of individuals to witness firsthand the dedication and commitment Nwoko has shown throughout this journey.
“In light of these factors, it is clear that hosting the inauguration reception in Abuja may not be the most convenient option. Instead, we invite you to join us back home, where we can ensure a larger representation of Nwoko’s constituents and create an inclusive, engaging, and memorable experience for all.” The statement read.
