It is no longer news that twenty-two nations have issued an air traffic ban restriction on all Russian airplanes transmitting their airspace, as a way of throwing their weight behind Ukraine in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis.

The European Union, Canada have publicly thrown their support to Ukraine. However, Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin once said any nation that tries to stop Russia or support Ukraine would experience what they have never experienced.

Following that all EU state members have thrown their support behind Ukraine by banning all Russian planes from transmitting over their air space.

Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Press Secretary said the guiding principle will be reciprocity and our own interests will be at the forefront of that

Putin has reacted to their ban by closing Russia’s airspace to the flights operated by 14 additional nations to the 22 nations that banned Russia initially, which makes a total of 36 banned nations by President Putin.

Here is the list of the 36 banned nations
