There is nothing jealousy will not cause in this life. A man (name withheld) was furiously complaining to a senior pastor of his church in Asaba, Delta state that he was not happy that his wife went for prayer and counseling in the branch of one of his pastors.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the man who was a devoted member of that same church told the senior pastor of the church that he should warn his junior pastor not to pray for his wife again.
Our source said that the senior pastor was shocked and disappointed to hear such comment from a member of his church.
Emerald News gathered that the senior pastor of the church got more disappointment when he enquired from the man the venue of his pastor’s prayer with his wife and found out that the pastor prayed for the man’s wife amongst the congregation in his branch.
This medium gathered that the senior pastor who called the man’s wife to hear from her, was told by the said woman that she got relieved of her job in one of the commercial banks, so she was led to go for a prayer and counseling in the branch of the junior pastor.
The woman, however, said that the junior pastor prayed for her in the midst of other people that came for counseling, adding that she had no ulterior motive neither did the pastor that prayed for her had any.
The senior pastor tried to make peace with the couple and pleaded with the complainant that he should forgive his wife and the junior pastor while explaining to him that his wife’s decision was for good.
Our source said the junior pastor was not told about the man’s complaint against him because the senior pastor felt that the information would make him feel bad.
