I have keenly followed the issues surrounding the murder of the Super TV boss, Michael Usifo Ataga. People have raised different views concerning the killer and the deceased. Some have blamed Chidinma while others blamed For me, I blame the 21-year-old girl, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu.
No amount of excuse will justify the fact that she killed someone who did not make any attempt to kill her. She did not kill him by accident, the act was intentional. And there are facts to prove that submission. The issues are clear.
Mr. Usifo was not after Chidinma’s life but Chidinma was enveloped in greed!
She complained that she did not like the way the man handled her during the first round and because of that she refused him a second round.
Chidinma went to Airbnb willingly! Mr. Usifo did not force her. She knows the man sexual desires. This is because, according to her, this is not the first time she is making out time with him. She said they have known for the past three months.
Killing the man and also having the nerves to steal his money shows the level of guts she has. She acted like someone who has been involved in many “successful” criminal acts.
A press release from Lagos State Police command shows the list of items that were recovered from her after arrest.
Among these items was a fake driver’s license with Chidinma’s photograph. In summary, Chidinma’s greed led to Mr Usifo’s untimely death and also altered her destiny regrettably.
Yes, she has altered her destiny. She is a 300 Level student of Mass Communication in a prestigious University of Lagos, s university many Nigerians are proud of. She has one year to become a graduate. But that dream has has been lost, and if I may say lost forever.
No one, for now, can tell what will be the outcome of the judgment that will be passed against her. Nobody can tell for now how long she will be jailed. Yes, definitely she must be jailed for premeditated murder. So, her career is gone. Her dream of becoming one important personality in Nigeria is dead.
Wjo knows what she would have been in the nearest future. Who knows what she would have contributed to Nigeria’s national economy. All the future aspirations of whatever have all been aborted. She must have been regretting by now but it is too late.
