The Chief of Staff to Senator Ned Nwoko and convener of the Asiwaju Boys/Girls movement, Dr. Michael Nwoko (The Political Oshobe) has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots welfare by hosting youths and women from Idumuje-Ugboko, his country home, where he distributed bags of rice and chickens to support them for the Christmas season.

The well-attended gathering brought together members of various youth and women groups from the community, who received the food items as part of an annual Christmas tradition personally sustained by Nwoko.

According to him, the outreach is driven by compassion and a sense of responsibility to give back to the people, rather than by abundance.
Speaking at the event, Nwoko said the gesture reflects his enduring bond with the community and his belief in sharing as a core value of leadership.
“I share not because I have, but because I care,” he remarked, emphasizing that the tradition has been maintained over the years to ensure that families in the community can celebrate Christmas with dignity and joy.
Community members expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful, especially in the face of prevailing economic challenges.
Many beneficiaries noted that the consistent nature of the outreach has made it a reliable source of support for vulnerable households during the festive period.
The event also served as a platform for interaction between Nwoko and the youths and women, reinforcing mutual trust and unity within the community.
Attendees praised his accessibility and continued engagement with local concerns, describing him as a bridge between the people and public leadership.
Michael Nwoko’s Christmas outreach in Idumuje-Ugboko underscores the importance of compassionate leadership and community-centered service, reflecting values that prioritize people, solidarity, and shared progress during significant cultural and religious celebrations.
