COVID-19: General Overseer mocks governors, says Rivers, Delta, others want money to stop disturbing people

The general overseer of Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has said that the coronavirus pandemic is nothing but an avenue for governors and other people to siphon money from the federal government and other world bodies.

In a broadcast he made from Port Harcourt, headquarters of his church, he urged the federal government to give money to the governors and by so doing the coronavirus pandemic will disappear without much noise.

He said if the federal government could give money to the Lagos state government, why should it not give money to Niger Delta governors who are the producers of the oil? He stated that all the south south states should be given money to placate them.

He doubted the presence of the virus in Nigeria, adding, however, that if the virus is in the country, the number being released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) daily is higher than the actual figure.

He said the health authorities and the government are magnifying coronavirus, insisting that malaria kills more than this coronavirus. He urged Christians to read the Bible so that coronavirus will not overshadow their vision.

His attempt is to dispel fear from the mind of his people as he tactically downplayed the coronavirus pandemic, saying malaria is now being considered as coronavirus in Nigeria. He said coronavirus cannot kill people that are already used to malaria.

What is coronavirus? I said it’s a virus that is corona. People are making noise about coronavirus, to me it is rubbish. Malaria kills more people in Nigeria than coronavirus. Every year people die of malaria, so what are we saying? We are closing borders anyhow. I don’t think Nigeria has coronavirus. You’ve heard about Raymond Dokpesi, they said he has it, they only gave him malaria drugs and he is fine.  If it’s coronavirus, why will they give him malaria tablets? Nigerians are using it to eat money. Governors eat money. They tell lies to get money from federal government.

They don’t have malaria overseas. Here we are already used to it. Coronavirus cannot attack people already use to malaria. The Nigerian people that have it, I don’t think they are up to the number they are calling. When one person has high temperature fever, they say its coronavirus, quarantine him. This number has been confirmed, such number discharged. Where did they treat them? Many states do not have centres but they are discharging people, where are they discharging them from? They don’t even have testing kits.

My friend, read Bible so that corona will not come near you. It won’t come near you in Jesus name. I read Bible, so I’m not afraid of coronavirus. Read Bible every time. Many of you give analysis more than medical doctors. Some of you read the thing to appoint that you are afraid. As you move the thing is moving with you. Words have power. Some of you even in your sleep, you see it like crown following you. When someone sneezes, you ask him why you are sneezing. Were people not sneezing before now? Somebody wants to shake you, you say no, no, there is coronavirus.

I see all our governors in Nigeria covering their faces. In UK when they are giving speech they don’t cover their faces. Here they cover their faces like masquerades. Do you see Donald Trump covering his face? Everything in Nigeria, we overdo it. Can you cover your face and be talking, how will somebody hear you talking? Are you a masquerade? Test yourself and see whether you have coronavirus.

Let them give money to all of them so that they can calm down. They should share money for them so that the can leave Nigeria alone. They need money. They have given Lagos state government money, so they should give money to everybody. All this closure will stop. Good money should be giving to them so that all this closure of 21 days will stop. They should find money and give them. Please, they should find money and give them. It’s money they need, they should find money and give them.

Since they gave N10billion to Lagos, they should find small money for others. True na. Like Rivers state, they should give them. Are they not the ones producing the oil? They are the ones. Give them. They are the ones producing the oil for Nigeria. Find them something. Lagos does not produce oil and they gave them N10billion.  We are preaching from Port Harcourt. They should give Rivers state small money, find Delta small money too. They should give Bayelsa. They are very angry, so you won’t blame them. Give Bayelsa small money, give Rivers state big money. Give Delta money, all this coronavirus will just stop.

Please, federal government find them small money so that they can leave citizens to rest. How will you give Lagos state and you won’t give them, Lagos state that has no oil. Please, give the oil producing people money.
