Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, governorship aspirant in the 2023 guber race in Delta state on Sunday said if given the opportunity to rule the state, he would create jobs for all youths of Delta state within the period of his administration.
This is despite the inability of the two former and incumbent governors, Chief James Ibori, Emmanuel Uduaghan and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to meet the yearnings of Delta youths within the last 21 years.
Gbagi also told stakeholders from Oshimili North and South who converged at NUT hall in Asaba that he would establish 100 industries which would accommodate all Delta youths within the first 100 days of swearing in as governor of the state.
Gbagi said he is a great entrepreneur and has built businesses which have employed many youths across the nation in Lagos, Abuja, Warri and other cities, hence he is banking on his business acumen to litter Delta with industries.
Olorogun Gbagi, who is one of the frontline governorship aspirants in the state, told the people that following his knowledge of business, he would make Delta a business hub in Africa.
He explained that he would evenly develop every part of Delta with no senatorial district lacking the presence of government, while insisting that if he fails to create 100 industries within his first 100 days in office, he would tender his resignation letter.
Gbagi, who is battling the crisis that followed allegation of stripping staff of his Signatious hotel naked in Effurun Warri, said he had never taken money that belong to someone else neither has he swindled someone all through his life.
Gbagi, who said he has lived an unblemished life in all his political and entrepreneural life, added: “I have never swindled anybody nor played wayo before. Nobody is saying I’m a thief. I like to be confronted with facts and figures.”
