Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta state, Godwin Ogorugba has been given a pact on the back by state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Kelly Kalanama Penawou over his developmental giant strides less than few months in office.
The commissioner who gave the commendation Tuesday during inspection of projects embarked upon and executed by Ogorugba, expressed satisfaction saying “I am so very impressed with the impressive performance and projects executed by the council chairman, Ogorugba, since assuming office.
“Mr. Chairman, I must applaud you for various projects initiated by your administration both completed and ongoing , it shows you came prepared and you knowns what your people want in consolidating the MORE AGENDA of his Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori governor of Delta state. Ogorugba’s performance shows he came prepared.”
The council chairman who thanked the commissioner and his team for the visit and inspection of projects in his local government council, specifically noted that, no doubt the visit and inspection will inspire the council to execute more people oriented project which are in line with governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE AGENDA for Deltans.
Among the projects inspected by the commissioner and his team include, the ongoing Isoko North administrative complex, star links network at the council secretariat, construction of rays/ tiling of offices in the council secretariat, completed road rehabilitation of Otor-Owhe-Owhelogbo road, completed road rehabilitation of failed portions of Otor-Iyede road, completed fifteen lookup stores and four toilets at Ofagbe big market, ongoing renovation of 50 open stores at Otor-Owhe big market, distribution of free notebooks to the 42 public primary schools and among others.
