Mr. Jamani stated that this act is not only unlawful but destructive as indiscriminate bush burning has caused a lot of destruction to lives, properties, houses, animals, arable lands, economic crops, desert encroachment, deforestation and climate change.
The commissioner enjoined members of the public to say NO to bush burning especially at this harmattan season.
While wishing all Deltans and residents in the state happy Christmas and prosperous new year, Mr. Jamani insisted that all residents in Delta state should take precautions and endure that all things that could cause unauthorized fire outbreak in their environment are properly disposed.
