The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi has expressed optimism about winning the 2023 governorship elections.
He expressed this while speaking with journalists after casting his vote at Jeremi ward 2 unit 15 Oginibo in Ughelli south local government area of Delta state.
He expressed belief that he will win the elections free and fair without buying of votes, stealing or snatching ballot papers.
Gbagi revealed that in his polling unit, there is peace but he knows that there are lot of contentions to come as it regards the election.
He further disclosed that the APC, Senator Omo-Agege and other parties are buying votes with the sum of N5,000 and N10,000 all in cash against the electoral acts.
While expressing his view on the BVAS machines, he said “The BVAs greatly has improved, I can tell you that but in some areas as much as 14 BVAS machines have been stolen across the entire state and then ballot papers are being snatched.
“It’s a shame that at this point of our lives, people have decided to be animals rather than being human beings but the electorates have decided and they’ll go the way they want to go”, he added.
He decried that there are areas where the APC has disallowed people to vote, despite this he said there are no other candidates and he is certain he will win the election.
