Against the initial permutations where people believe that Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, the guber candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP has no supporters, Gbagi has successfully proved them wrong. As at present, Gbagi is making wave, claiming lands and gaining massive supporters across the state.

Those who had earlier ruled out Olorogun Gbagi, saying he had no followership, giving unfounded reasons to authenticate their claims, are fast changing their minds as Gbagi’s support base is rising in a geometric progression on daily basis.

Olorogun Gbagi, who is the only candidate who is not campaigning using government funds, is daily breaking into places, communities and men of importance in society. For the first time in Delta, a single individual is leading an army of supporters, criss-crossing communities and winning hearts to his governorship drive.

Prior to his emergence as the SDP governorship candidate, there were gang-ups of various forms against him to weaken his resolve to slug it out with men at the helm of affairs. But at the moment, Gbagi has succeeded in dismantling all barriers and is winning hearts of men, women and youths to his guber race.

As it is now, Olorogun Gbagi is the only formidable governorship candidate in Delta state. He is personally chesting the campaign and people, especially youths, are keying massively into his campaign programmes and promises. As he moves across communities and speaks to Deltans of his programmes and agenda, he gains more followers into his kitty. And the bag of followers continues to swell.

Listening to Gbagi, one would see a man who has the entrepreneural ability to revive a failing or failed economy, either at the state or national level. His dept of wisdom, knowledge of rescusitating failed systems and bringing life to moribund firms, is legendary, an evidence that Olorogun Gbagi will make Delta an industrial haven as soon as he emerges governor of Delta state.

His detractors may be people who are faraway from him or who are heavily benefiting from the failed system. This is an unassailable fact. But for those who are close to him, and have opportunity of listening to his developmental programmes, they easily realise that Gbagi is only a disciplinarian who will never allow anything that does not add value to life see the daylight. Yes, Gbagi is only interested in matters that add value to human existence, make life meaningful and worth living.

As a successful entrepreneur, Gbagi is bent on employing funds from Delta government house to create viable business opportunities for the masses of Delta people. And with these promises which the people know he would definitely bring to fruition, his followership has continued to swell, thereby increasing his chances of clinching the plum job.

Youths across the state are heavily following Gbagi. Videos and photos of youths are seen singing Gbagi’s praises as their preferred candidate for the March 11, 2023 governorship election. They are convinced that Gbagi has what it takes to turn the economy of Delta around for good. This is the man Deltans need at this critical time.

Deltans need to wake up. We must come out from living in the stone age. We must not continue to do things in the old way. It’s time we opened our eyes and allow the man who can change the destiny of multitude of Delta people do the job for us. We will forever be happy if we did. Tomorrow, definitely, will be better.
