As the popularity of the Delta state governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, continues to swell with royal fathers across the three senatorial districts of the state blessing his governorship ambition, Rev. Goodwill Adogho of Word of Grace Ministries, Bishop Jude Akhere of Pasture of Life International and a host of others prayed and committed his ambition to the hands of God.
The SDP governorship candidate who was at the Word of Grace Ministries, Agbor, to celebrate with Rev. Adogho on his 55th birthday anniversary, alongside his wife, Justice Sybil Gbagi, and candidates of the party vying for various political positions, were ushered to God for guidance and protection as they seek the support of Deltans ahead of the 2023 election.
The clergymen on Sunday July 3, 2022, who took turn to pray for the largest private investor to find favour from Deltans, described Gbagi as the best man for the job.
They prayed for righteousness to reign in Delta state saying: “politics belongs to the children of God. We decree and declare that wicked men will no longer sit on the seat of power
“May the grace from heaven be the help of Gbagi and all that are contesting that have come with him. Heavenly father, it is time for Delta state to move forward and it is time for us to see development and industrialization in this state.
“Let the stepping into this place by Kenneth Gbagi, cause a total turn around for him. May God give you and your party the gift that only him can give and may the perfect will of God be done”, they prayed.
Earlier, Olorogun Gbagi, a renowned criminologist and philanthropist, eulogized Rev. Adogho, whom he knew 55 years ago saying: “I am very proud of you, my heart is full of joy. There’s no way I can appreciate you better than to say, I associate with this work of yours.
“I respect you better than I respect Buhari. Goodwill cannot be anything less than a true man of God, because that is the foundation he was moulded with and that is where we all came out from.
“Goodwill is my kid brother and I love him so dearly”, just as Gbagi made a handsome donation towards the expansion of the church building.
