Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi is the man Delta youths need to move from their present level. He has spoken on several fora that he has outlined programmes for youths across the state. Our youths have long been suffering. There are many graduates in the state but they have no jobs.
Many okada riders and keke riders are graduates from different fields but for lack of jobs they resort to okada riding in both towns and villages in the state. Our governments have continuously promised them empowerment but the empowerments have not been sustainable. Graduates from universities are being made to undergo menial jobs while their children are cruising the cities and towns with exotic cars.
The government of Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi is set to create sustainable jobs for youths and graduates and, hence remove them from the streets of Asaba, Agbor, Warri, Ughelli, Ozoro, Kwale, Sapele, Bomadi, Patani and other communities in the state. Gbagi, being an entrepreneur and a business magnate, will find it easy to create jobs for Deltans. This is what he has done and been doing over the years.
He has the mind to better the lives of Deltans. He has passion for youths of Delta state. His biggest pain is seeing youths roaming streets without jobs. Why going to school without jobs? If going to school and graduating, you begin to seek for job for yourself, then what is the role of the government? It is the duty of government to provide job opportunities for all indigenes of the state and ensure they are happy.
The happiness of the citizens should be one of the biggest responsibilities of the government. But when government seems to derive joy from sending youths to do menial jobs or create temporary job opportunities for them which is not sustainable, it calls for concern. There is no justification for that. The only joy a government has is the happiness of the citizens of the state.
This is what Gbagi is set to do when he eventually becomes governor in 2023. A lot of youths that are roaming the streets today, living as parasites to politicians, Gbagi is set to create job opportunities for them and make them gainfully employed. When youths are gainfully employed, the rate of crime will be reduced. Prisons will automatically decongest and people will live in peace in their homes.
The fear of invasion by kidnappers and robbers will be reduced to the barest minimum. People can then sleep with eyes closed and there will be smile on all faces. Many people today cannot eat three square meals a day. Many youths have nowhere going at the dawn of the day. Hence, to spend their days, they go to beer parlours, meet with friends and the hardened ones plan criminal actions. This is so because society has become very hard because of the plenty lies government has continuously told the youths.
Now, as Gbagi becomes governor, if elected, with his independent mindedness and no godfather who will make request for the money to be transferred to him, there is going to be massive development in the state. All the state money will be channeled to one issue which is development of the state and making life easy and beautiful for all Deltans across the 25 local government areas.
This is what Gbagi is coming to do. Everybody in the state will be happy. There will good days for everyone. Already, Gbagi has made his money. He is not coming to government to amass wealth for himself or his family. His business is strictly to transform lives and beautify faces. He has acquired all that he needed for his future generations. But seeing youths and the suffering of our people, he is pained and hence, determined to change the narrative and the ugly story of our people.
Let’s key into this agenda for our own good. Our future should be of utmost concern to us. We should jettison immediate satisfaction in preference for the greater tomorrow. It will pay you more to provide for the rainy day than eating your future in one day. Gbagi has a great future plan in the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for all of us.
