The coming elections will be a daunting task for all Deltans to elect the next governor of the state, and the task which will ultimately take few minutes on March 11, 2023 requires serious probing and investigation of all the candidates vying for the number one position of the state.

In a bid to make sure that the right candidate is elected as governor, clergy men, royal fathers and other non partisan bodies have made their views more prominent with regard to this year’s election. They have all agreed that the best candidate should be selected as governor for the overall good of all Deltans.

This development is premised on the current state of the economy in Nigeria and Delta specifically. The economy is bad and the consensus is that the best and nothing but the best candidate must emerge as governor.

The objective is to vote for individuals who can really work in the interest of the people and not personal DC pockets. The person is expected to turn the economy for the good of all.

Various political parties are contesting with their candidates at the helm.

Notable among the contesting parties are SDP, APC and PDP. These three parties are vigorously campaigning for the elections.

In light of this, the Social Democratic Party candidate, Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, has sent a message to Deltans.

He noted: “Fellow Deltans, think of your future, and that of your unborn children before you cast that vote wrongly.

“Be the wiser and better Deltan this time. Refuse any form of manipulation or instigation from any party.

We are Deltans full of wisdom and knowledge. Let’s take our future in our hands before it is too late, eight years is not eight days.

We should be guided by our conscience to always do the right things at all times.

We are Deltans!

We are Nigerians!

We are the pride of the nation!

Support Gbagi for governor!

Vote SDP for progress”.
