Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, one of the foremost governorship aspirants in Delta is most needed at this critical time to salvage Delta state. The development Delta needs can only be achieved by an independent minded candidate with an entrepreneurial mind. There is so much money in Delta and the money is being misused by people who have been in power over the years. It’s time we collectively put an end to that. And the only person who can guarantee the development needed at this critical time is no other than Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi.

Deltans need to look away from the normal politics. We should focus on who has the capacity and the will to surmount the courage and carry out enduring investment in Delta. Our youths need life-saving jobs and our market women need funds to transform their trades. Our students need better and well equipped learning environments to acquire knowledge in the fast evolving technology driven world. Our graduates need jobs where they can earn a decent living and be able to cater for their needs and relations. Our elderly people and pensioners need a governor who will give priority to their needs, pay them as when due. These are priority issues to Gbagi.

This is why Gbagi is needed. Gbagi is the governor Deltans need at this time. He is passionate and very much willing to employ all his business acumen to build a great Delta for all of us. He has travelled round various parts of the state and has articulated the needs of every area, including the coastal communities and the upland area. He has drawn the blue-print and he is well prepared to put machinery in motion immediately he emerges as governor in 2023. But for that to be, the PDP delegates should think wise and cast their votes for him on May 25, 2022.

He has done it before. He has built firms and empowered people from all walks of life. He has been proven, tested and trusted. He has done it where he has worked. We are aware that his desire for the office of the governor is not for his personal aggrandizement but for the overall good of the people of Delta state. He has already built his CV. He has already made the money he needs for his family. Now, he wants to transform Delta. Considering the quantum of money that comes to the state monthly and the IGR being generated, Delta is expected to be another Dubai by now, but the reverse is what we are experiencing in the state.

Delta is one of the richest states in Nigeria. After Lagos, the next richest state is Delta. But the wealth in the state is entering the pockets of few and they are living large on our common patrimony. We must collectively say NO to that and vote Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi as the next governor of Delta state. Our delegates must not make the biggest mistakes of their lives by voting someone else other than Gbagi on May 25. A single mistake of voting someone else will tantamount to mortgaging the future of this great state and leaving the unborn generation to groan in pains and penury. The mistake will be too costly.

We must all shine our eyes. So much money is flying from money-miss-roads across the state. Delegates are encouraged to collect the money because it belongs to them. But they should not sell their votes under the altar of a little morsel. The future of the state should be more important to them than the present pleasure. And the only person who has the willpower, the business acumen, the passion, the man who can say NO to godfathers is Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the biggest industrialist in the state. He is the only one who can look at the scavengers in the face and tell them the money belongs to Deltans and not for sharing.

It’s time we think of the future of our unborn generations. What kind of Delta are we leaving for them? What kind of future do we have in mind for them? An industrialised state, a developed state, a state with jobs for everyone, a state where we have access to the best education and jobs for our graduates? A state where tribalism is not a factor to get job as a Deltan. A state where everyone is giving equal opportunity and the benefit of being an indigene of an oil-rich state. This is the Delta we all crave for. And we can get it if only our PDP delegates cast their votes for Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi. It is our right to better living. This is not negotiable.

We should not miss the opportunity of a governor that cares and takes the welfare of Deltans as a big priority. Missing Gbagi may be missing an opportunity that is once in a life time. The reasons are simple. The man is not a thief. He cannot steal our money. He won’t share our money with godfathers. He won’t even allow thieves as cabinet members to dip their hands into the state treasury. He is a disciplinarian to the core. These are some of the good qualities of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the incoming governor of Delta state.
