Everybody in Delta knows that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the most prominent governorship aspirant, has a big dream for Delta state. He has always said it. He has done it and he will do it when he ascends the seat of power.
Among all the aspirants from both Delta central and south, Gbagi is the only man who has visible investments in the state. Let’s check all of them. His money is also from his investment across parts of the country. He does not depend on government to make money. He is already a made man. And being a made man, his coming into governance is to better the lives of Deltans.
He has been tested and proven to be the man of the hour, the man needed to translate the wealth of Delta to the lives of all Deltans. He has the business acumen, the creative ability, the brain and the passion. He has never dipped his hand into government coffers and that he will never do. This is the man Deltans should trust for the future of this state.
Deltans need a man who talks and stands by his words. That man is Gbagi. Our youths need a man who will move all of them from the streets and give them a permanent means of livelihood. There are so many street youths in Delta. It’s time to pull them from the street of Warri, Ughelli, Sapele, Ozoro, Oleh, Ogwashi Uku, Issele Uku, Asaba, Abraka, Bomadi and others
Yes, Gbagi’s vision is all encompassing. For the time we have known Gbagi, he is a man that is consistent with his words. I’ve not known him to be a man who forgets his words. He has never made promises and forgets. His dream of industrialising Delta is not a moon light tale.
In Nigeria, we have got many failed leaders who make promises but abandon them when they ascend the seat of power. They give flimsy reasons why they cannot fulfill their promises. This man Gbagi is not like one of them. He has severally promised to build houses for Deltans and industrialise every part of the state. Gbagi did not put water in his mouth while making the promises.
It is what he can do that he says. He’s not interested in talking with sugarcoated tongues and win gullible minds. That is not Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi. He meant what he says and he says what he meant. Deltans need to bank on his promises and go to bed.
With his wealth of knowledge in business and industrial development, there’s a big hope of a greater Delta, the Delta of our dream. Most Deltans travel outside the country for a lot of things that can be gotten in the state. Gbagi is bent on making Delta the business hub of Nigeria. Every community will feel the impact of his government.
A lot of us have seen the beauties in the foreign world. Those architectural structures were made by men and not angels. They were made by money and Delta has such money to transform the state. We can make it. Gbagi has the blue print to get the dream realised. It is doable.
Just as Gbagi had once said the incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has built the roads across the nooks and crannies of the state. His job is now left to build industries and remove the remaining youths from the streets. This is the promise of Gbagi and he stands by it.
