There are many aspirants in Delta central, gunning for the 2023 governorship. We have Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Olorogun David Edevbie, Chief James Augoye, Senator James Manager, Braduce Angozi, Kingsley Otuaro, Olorogun Kenneth Okpara and a lot of other names that are springing out.
But one of this large number is most accessible to both the youths and adults. He has no aides that prevent people from seeing him. He has no protocol officers apart from few police officers on his escort. He moves freely without multitude of boys barricading people from accessing him
He is known to be the most wealthy of all the plethora of contestants but he lives a free and unassuming life. That means his hands must be clean from the pollutions which most Nigerian politicians stain their lives with.
He is one of all the aspirants who is a friend to the people in the background. He moves with them. He moves in the midst of the poorest of the poor without considering his social status or economic standing. Unlike some whose aides alienate them from the people whom they want to govern or represent in the parliament.
This man is no other than Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the man from Oginibo in Ughelli South local government area of Delta state. Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is one man whom I see to be very close to the people at the lowest wrung of the ladder.
He does not consider his wealth and personality. He does not consider himself as a former minister of the federal republic of Nigeria. He has taken photos with the poorest villagers and the street boys. He feels he is one of them. He feels their pains and recognises the need to extend a helping hand to them.
I think he has a good stand to govern the state with these beautiful qualities. I think we should give him a chance to exhibit his talent for good governance. He has a good vision for the state. I know he meant his words and will definitely match them with action.
