The Nigerian Labour Congress in a letter has warned INEC and others not to allow the election to degenerate into a national security crisis by subverting the sovereign will of the people.
The body states that the tension after the casting of voters should be enough signal to anybody planning a heist of the vote as INEC must sample the pulse of the people before embarking on any action.
The NLC further called on all Nigerian workers and citizens to be alert to protect the nation from the hands of those who have foiled the current suffering on them and wish to subvert the collective will as expressed in the election cycle.
