#EndSARS: Benin Residents Launch Operation Block Your Street As Protest Lingers (video)

As unrest has continued day after day and in town after town in solidarity of the #EndSARS protest Benin City residents have taken the agitation further with a whole new level with the launch of operation block your street.

The residents have blocked the entrance to their streets in solidarity with the protesters who are calling for the end to everything wrong with Nigeria.

In what started as a joke Nigerians have started to troop out to protest the ill administration of the Federal Government.

As we speak no single commercial activity is going on in Benin City, markets are shut, schools are closed, banks and other business premises all shut down.

From Uselu to Ikpobha Hill, New Benin to Ekehuan the story is not different as the City is in a total standstill.

Meanwhile, some other areas in the City have recorded cases of vandalism with some security reports indicating looting of Business outfits.

In as much as we endorse the right to peaceful protest, we urge residents to be careful in their undertakings.
