For those fanning embers of war in Nigeria, you need to check these photos from Israel

For those fanning the embers of war, think.

These are pictures of the current war between Palestine and Israel. Its not up to one week yet, but look at the casualty.

That city in ruins could  be Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Port Harcourt or Owerri. A city you live in comfortably, doing your business quietly.

Those men with bloodied wraps in their hands could be your brothers. Or parents. The dead kids could be yours, or kids you used to know in the area. Now, they are dead. You don’t know when the bombs will kill more people you know. Or even yourself.

Those people walking away used to have a life. Some were business men. Or civil servants. Or even okada or keke riders. The money may not have been much, but they had a life. They loved their families, and their families loved them. None was missing. They had plans for the kids to join the police. Or Road Safety.

Or become a doctor or engineer. Now, bombs are falling everywhere. Those dreams are shattered forever.

Those kids may not survive another day.

Their dreams are gone. Forever.

What are they going to eat tonight? They are not sure.

The injuries on their bodies, how are they going to get medication? No one is sure.

Anyone could rob them, stab them, rape the girls and women, the mothers and sisters. Yet you men can’t do anything because you will be shot if you challenge the rapist.

I don’t know if you get the picture.

Look at the efforts of hard working, vision filled men and women destroyed by other men because war sounds sweet  to their ears.

Everything you know and loved will be gone in a minute.

That’s what war does to you.

The main people stirring the hornets of war will never be affected by it, because they live far away in Europe and America and Asia and Arabia.

But you will be caught up with it. And would probably die.

You won’t be able to use your phone because there won’t be electricity, there wont be network to chat and post, and quarrel, and while away time.

War is evil. Its from the devil.

Stop cheering warmongers. There are other solutions. Better solutions. And you know it.

Don’t fan what will end your life forever.
