Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, has reacted to the bail granted him by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday, 7 January.
In a statement issued following the court’s decision, Malami described the development as a reaffirmation of his confidence in the rule of law and the judicial process.
He reiterated his unwavering respect for due process and the authority of the courts, noting that he has consistently conducted himself in accordance with the law.
Malami assured that he would continue to comply strictly with all lawful directives and bail conditions as determined by the court.
He also appealed to members of the public to remain calm and patient, adding that more comprehensive details regarding the matter would be communicated at a later time.
