A frontline governorship aspirant in Delta
State, Olorogun (Barr.) Kenneth Omemevwa Gbagi and his supporters stole the mega rally of the People’s Democratic Party with good outing, a sign that shows the renowned detribalised deltan and core Industrialist was strategizing to clinch the ticket of the party; as he joined Okowa to welcome APC decampee in their numbers to PDP.
The rally, which held on Saturday at the Cenotaph in Asaba, the Delta State capital, saw large crowds of Gbagi supporters thronged the venue in solidarity.
With the outing of Olorogun Gbagi’s support for the party, PDP and Okowa’s administration, coupled with his consultations across the state, it is crystal clear that the pendulum of who would take over from Okowa by 2023 is in the direction of the former Minister of State Education, Olorogun (Barr.) Kenneth Omemevwa Gbagi.
As Deltans who want Okowa legacy of the Stronger Delta agenda to continue with industrialization of the state, it is now the time for PDP leaders and elders to lend their support to Gbagi to continue from where Okowa would stop as APC is no match to Kenneth Gbagi soaring strength in the road to Government House, Asaba by 2023.
