The Social Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi in continuation of his church to church campaign strategy, visited the Anglican Diocese of Patani on Friday, 30th December 2022, to share his vision for Delta state.
He was warmly received by Rt Reverend Victor Ebipade Okporu, Bishop of Anglican diocese of western Izon and other leaders of the Anglican Communion of the Patani Diocese.
Gbagi resolutely spoke against the influence of godfatherism and how his only godfather is God the father above.
He reaffirmed his ideals on revitalizing the ndustry of Delta state.
Sharing his views on the presidential elections, he stated ” I only know two presidential candidates that should be voted for as Christians. One is Prince Adewole Adebayo and the other is Peter Obi and if you’re truly a Christian and you vote for any other candidate, then God will punish you”
He pointed out to the congregation that the church has the solution to Delta state problem because in his estimate at least 75% of the state is made up of Christians so christians need to take a stand and not just pray.
