The Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, Prince Ned Nwoko, following his successful round off of the ward-to-ward campaign in his senatorial district, has again taken his campaign train to Ndokwa East and Ndokwa West local government areas of Delta state, on Friday, 30 December, 2022.
Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori, the Delta state PDP governorship candidate, who was present at the campaign ground, expressed optimism in Nwoko’s candidacy. He stated that Nwoko will not turn his back on the people when he gets to the red chambers.
In Oborevwori’s words, “Ned will not abandon us, I believe in his candidacy. He will represent us fully well in the red chambers.”
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who was also present at both LGAs campaign rallies, again, applauded Nwoko’s loyalty, stressing that his humility has earned him the position.
Recall that Okowa, while speaking at the Oshimili North LGA campaign rally, on Thursday, 29 December, 2022, had lauded Nwoko, describing him as a man of Intergrity and transparency, who would represent the people productively in the senate.
Addressing the crowd, Nwoko stated that, there is no need sending him to Abuja, without the people voting the other four political offices, which he called a team. He pointed out that the number one office in that team is the office of the presidency.
He reaffirmed his promise of tackling the issue of gas flaring and oil pollution in Ndokwa East LGA, once he gets to the senate.
