A nursing mother and her baby were abducted by gunmen in Tudun Mun Tsira village, Zangon Shanu, Samaru in Sabon Gari local government area of Kaduna State.
According to reports, the sad incident happened in the early hours of Friday.
It was also gathered that an elderly man, Mallam Abubakar Garba Aliyu, who was said to have recently relocated to the community was also abducted alongside his son, Salimi Abubakar, in Hayin Liman, the same area.
The incident left many people in the area in panic.
Recounting how it all happened, a source said told Daily Post;
“The gunmen came in large numbers and invaded the area through the back fence of the university. They rode on motorbikes carrying sophisticated arms.”
The source also revealed it is believed that the armed men came in from kasuwar Da’a axis, in Giwa Local Government Area which is very close to their village.
