Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, is not just a politician but a man of profound vision and unwavering determination to achieve set goals.

From an early age, Senator Nwoko, the Chairman of the Nigeria Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriations, exhibited exceptional passion for justice for the less privileged.

As a lawyer, he has consistently fought for justice, representing individuals and communities whose voices were often unheard.

But his true calling lay beyond the courtroom—in the corridors of power where policies are made and futures are shaped.

In 1999, the Vice Chairman Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Nwoko entered the Nigerian House of Representatives, representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

He quickly distinguished himself as a legislator with a difference, as his tenure was marked by a relentless pursuit of developmental projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of his constituents and by parity of reasons, Nigerians.

His ability to merge visionary ideas with practical solutions earned him the admiration of both colleagues at the House of Representatives and his constituents.

One of Senator Nwoko’s most significant contributions to Nigeria, and Africa prior to his emergence as Senator is his fight against malaria.

In a continent where the disease claims thousands of lives annually, Senator Nwoko, the Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment, launched an ambitious campaign to eradicate the disease and save many Africans.

Through the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation, he spearheaded efforts to develop vaccines, promote environmental sanitation, and distribute insecticide-treated mosquito nets across rural communities.

His passion for this cause was deeply personal, having witnessed the devastating impact of the disease on families.

Beyond health, Senator Nwoko’s vision extended to education and tourism.

He established the first-of-its-kind STARS University, focused on sports and innovation, in his hometown of Idumuje-Ugboko.

The university aims to nurture young talents and create opportunities for the youth to excel on the global stage.

Furthermore, his advocacy for space exploration earned Nigeria a place in the international space community, inspiring young scientists and engineers to dream big.

As a senator, Nwoko continued to push beyond national boundaries. His legislative priorities encompassed climate change, infrastructural development, and youth empowerment.

He believed that Africa’s future lay in harnessing the potential of its young population and investing in sustainable technologies.

His speeches in the Senate resonate with hope and a clear roadmap for progress in his constituency, Nigeria and the Africa continent.

Despite his many accomplishments, the only Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Senator in Delta state is still breaking new grounds and reaching out for better life for his people.

He is a man of the people, often seen engaging with the rural populace and listening to the concerns of the marginalized.

His humility and open door policy have endeared him to millions of people who have described him as one of the most accommodating Senator in the Nigeria Senate.

Senator Nwoko’s legacy is one of visionary leadership, selflessness, and an unyielding belief in the power of collective action.

His story inspires countless individuals to dream big, work hard, and dedicate themselves to causes larger than themselves.

In the annals of Nigerian history, his name stands tall as a beacon of hope and progress. His presence in the Nigeria Senate is a signal of hope for the country. The reason is not far-fetched. His speeches, vision and aspirations represent men who are bent to make life better for the average Nigerian.
