Two years after the Lekki tollgate massacre, a survivor identified as Jacob Desmond was spotted kneeling at the Lekki tollgate, overwhelmed by emotions as he gives thanks to God for sparing his life.
A correspondent from The PUNCH observed that he parked his bike at the tollgate and dropped to his knees.
While speaking with a journalist, Jacob said “In this same tollgate, we lost so many young men. I was among those that would have been killed…”
However, as Jacob was speaking with the journalist, two armed Police men came and picked him up, hence couldn’t finish his spot interview with the journalist.
According to reports, Jacob has been released.
