An Ijaw man of Southern Ijaw extraction of Bayelsa state, one Egberbin Dinakpo Lucky, has called on minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to use his good office to facilitate development to Southern Ijaw federal constituency of the state.
His call followed a post made by Amaechi on facebook where he showcased photos of ongoing work at the federal university of transportation at Daura, the country home of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina state, Northern Nigeria.
The photos showed the progress of work at the university and the construction workers at the site busy putting materials in place.
Seeing the photos made and posted by Amaechi, Egberibin used the opportunity to draw the attention of the minister to Southern Ijaw area of Bayelsa state. He state the area is a stronghold of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) but yet to witness any project from the APC.
He said the federal government is facilitating development in different parts of the country but nothong has been done in the area which is said to be largest local government in Bayelsa state, Southern Nigeria.
