Bomadi Protesters: Constituencies Pass Vote Of No Confidence On Manager, Mutu, Preyor Over Poor Performances And Representation

… Give Them Red Card In 2023, Says Enough Is Enough Bomadi Local Government Must Get The Basic Social Amenities We Are Protesting For

The people of Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta state have pass vote of no confidence on their public office holders, Senator James Manager, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu and Hon. Preyor Oboro over poor performances and poor representation in office.

Speaking with newsmen on behalf of the protesters, human rights activist and coordinator Bomadi Like Mind Comrades, Comrade Gilor Kelly said, “Everyday we complain of underdevelopment and human capital development in Bomadi Local Government and we have Senator James Manager in the Senate since 2003 till date, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu 1999 till date and Hon. Preyor Oboro 2011 till date, but nothing to show for in the local government.

No constituency office, no constituency project not even constituency briefing over the years. They are now nightmare to the people they are representing.

We are calling on EFCC and ICPC to visit Bomadi Local Government and see things for themselves. Let them come and see the underdevelopment and suffering the people are passing through despite having such public officer from the local government.

Today the youths of Bomadi Local Government are rising to say No to these failed leaders. Enough is enough we can not bear it anymore. They don’t have our support. So they should resign and submit themselves to the EFCC and ICPC before they will be disgraced out of office.

Our protest of Bomadi Like Mind Comrades is about Good Governance and against bad leadership in Bomadi Local Government over the years. We have given red card to Senator James Manager, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu and Hon. Preyor Oboro for their poor performances and poor representation over the years.

Comrade Gilor said, as lawmakers in the National Assembly and State Assembly none of them has ever made law or sponsored bill (s) that positively affected the lives of the people they are representing. They don’t have constituency office, no constituency project, no good relationship with their constituencies.

They are there for their own selfish interest and their families. Because of their selfish and poor performances both in the Federal and State levels the Bomadi Local Government Area is abysmally backward in terms of development and human capital development since 1999 till date.

“The radical Comrade warn sycophants to steer clear from the development and human capital development of the local government and tell them the bitter truth to do the needful.

Also speaking during the protest for Good Governance, High Chief (Alhaji) Yusuf Eregbene said that the Bomadi Local Government is poorly represented by inefficient lawmakers at both the State and Federal levels which moved the council area abysmally backward in terms of development.

There is no single higher institution in Bomadi Local Government, no light, no bank, no good roads, no potable drinking water, no functional market, no functional health care, no constituency office, no constituency project and among others. You can see they are failed leaders.

“I want to ask Senator James Manager, Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu and Hon. Preyor Oboro this pertinent question, How many times have they call for constituency briefing since they were elected into office?Where are their Constituency Projects and Constituency office located?

What are the legacy projects you people attracted to our Constituency over the years as our elected representatives in order to write your names in gold? Is so sad and unfortunate that nothing to show as far as Bomadi Constituency is concerned.

This historical protest is to tell you people that we are tired of your poor performances both at the State and Federal levels.

We therefore pass vote of no confidence on Senator James Manager, Hon. Nicholas Mutu and Hon. Preyor Oboro. They should resign and submit themselves to EFCC to account for all the money they collect for our Constituency Project and be ready to disgrace out of office.
