The tussle for governorship of Delta state continues and as all the candidates campaign for votes, the most attractive and specific to Delta issue is candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi.
Gbagi’s campaign has been all about tackling the wave of poverty, joblessness and insecurity that have taken over Delta state.
In a bid to tackle these issues, Gbagi has enumerated several of the steps he will take to boost the economy once he becomes governor.
The renowned entrepreneur who is the single most accomplished independent investor in Delta state as a private individual, has garnered the trust of the youths and the word on the streets is that Gbagi is the only one trusted to revive Delta state.
In the campaign train that has been moving all over the state, the reception has been massive with huge crowds turning up to listen to the man of the hour.
Scores of pastors and clerics have given their blessings to Gbagi as the incoming governor of Delta state and there has been a wave of party members from PDP, APC and Labour Party turning to join Gbagi’s campaign movement to liberate Delta state.
No one can do it better they all say, because Delta state needs a man of character and integrity and that man is Gbagi.
Rt Reverend Cyril Odutemu in the just concluded Anglican Diocese of Ughelli prayer convention, rounded it up perfectly.
He said: “Gbagi promised and he has fulfilled his promise, that means he will do what he says when he becomes governor.
“Anybody who can deceive the church, will never fulfill any promise to the state”.
He called on the thousands of people gathered to pray for his success and anointed Gbagi to occupy the space that will be empty by 29th of May, 2023 and called the people to vote en mass for Gbagi as the incoming governor.
