As the 2023 senatorial election inches closer, the Delta North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, Prince Ned Nwoko, has continued to receive enormous endorsements from groups and individuals.
The commercial riders, both ‘Keke’ and ‘Okada’ riders, in Aniocha North local government area, are not left behind, as they have also converged to declare their support for the senatorial candidate.
During the meeting with Nwoko, at Mount Ned, Idumuje-Ugboko, the riders’ representatives stated that, they did not just come to declare support, but also, to know if there are other strategic plans that the senatorial candidate would want to share with them, so they can add to their already mapped out plans for grassroot mobilization, maintaining that, they are committed to ensuring seamless victory for the PDP candidate.
Responding, Nwoko expressed gratitude. He, however, noted that, there are no better strategies than engaging the local populace and letting them know the importance of having PDP occupy the five political offices, especially the presidency, whilst unveiling the malicious plots of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to turn Nigeria into a war zone because of selfish interests.
The leading senatorial candidate called on the riders, to let the electorates know the necessity of having a PDP president. He described his tenure without a PDP president, as, sending him to war with his hands tied behind his back. Hence, urged the commercial riders to not only support him, but also, extend their support to other PDP candidates, especially the presidential candidate.
