A video has captured the moment a family abandoned their toddler outside the house at the earliest sign of danger.
The family members were seated on the veranda when they heard a gunshot and immediately scampered to safety by running indoors.
But the most shocking part was that no one bothered to carry the toddler while running inside and they ended up locking him outside.
The boy could be seen fidgeting while walking back and forth in a bid to gain entry back into the house.
