Husbands have been described as demi gods to their wives and children and should be honoured and as well as be treated as kings.
Evangelist Peter Ogudo of God’s Purpose Ministry, Asaba, Delta state made this assertion in a chat with Emerald News.
Evangelist Ogudo said that women should hold their men in high esteem as a result of their nature.
According to him, God took one of the ribs of a man to create a woman meaning that every woman should be under her husband.
The Evangelist noted that women who strive with their husbands are disobedient ones, hence will not be blessed by God.
“It beats my imagination to see women of nowadays abusing their husbands. Sadly, some even exchange blows with their husbands when God commands them to be submissive to their husbands”.
The preacher, however, submitted that many women who suffer affliction in their marriages were as a result of their disobedience to their husbands.
He added that women who respect their husbands irrespective of their status were easily distinguished and blessed by God.
He, however, urged women who were not submissive to their husbands to humble themselves and turn a new leaf so that God will bless them.
