The chairman of Wukari local government council of Taraba state, Hon. Adi Daniel Adigrace, in collaboration with Wukari Traditional Rulers council has approved naming a street in the local government after Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the foremost guber aspirant in Delta state.
In a letter signed by the local government vice chairman who also doubles as chairman street naming committee, Hon. Tijani Sale Angyu and Emmanuel Sallah, secretary, the chairman said the recognition given to Olorogun Gbagi was a firm decision and recommendation made by the council and the traditional rulers.
He said the decision was to honour and immortalise some eminent personalities who had contributed positively to the growth and development of “our locality by way of naming streets after them.”
The letter read in part: “Following a firm decision, suggestion and recommendation of Wukari Traditional Rulers council to the Wukari local government council in her meeting of 29th September, 2020 to honour as well as immortalise some emineny personalities who had in one way or the other contributed positively to the growth and development of our locality by way of naming streets after them, the Wukari local government council has given consideration and approved by the chairman, Hon. Dr. Adi Daniel Adigrace.”
“Consequent upon the recommendation of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi by the Wukari Traditional Rulers council, we are pleased to inform you of the Wukari local government council approval.”
