There are speculations that the three All Progressive Congress APC governors visited Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt to woo him to join the ruling APC.
Wike has been aggrieved over the outcome of the PDP presidential primaries and the choice of the party’s vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state.
Since the election and the choice of the vice presidential candidate, Wike has kept low profile and refused to speak to any one. However, many governors have visited him in Port Harcourt on the mission of buying him to their party.
Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria People’s Party, Peter Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti has visited him.
But the emissaries sent to him by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to speak to him, he reportedly shunned them.
These three governors may have been sent by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
